A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken. --NLT*

We have chosen as our theme text Ecclesiastes 4:12.

When two people become one uniting in marriage they find strength to face life?s challenges together. But our marriage will be built upon not a union of two but a union of three. We have asked God to be part of our marriage. He is the third strand that makes the cord that binds us together in love unbreakable.

As we make our marriage vows to each other we will also make a vow giving our marriage to God and asking Him to be our leader.

* NLT stands for the New Living Translation of the Bible. NLT is a loose translation of the Bible which we don't necessarily endorse.
